Post by: 80sarcadegames on October 14, 2016, 11:41:00 am
For my arcade cabinet (Project Arcade cabinet)

A guy near my house is selling this for $60
near my house within driving distance.

Is this a good deal do you think?

you haven't mentioned in any of your threads WHAT you plan on doing.

are you building a MAME computer?
are you using a XXX-in-1 board?
are you playing an original game board?

what resolution are you looking to achieve...what does your game output?

would this FIT in the cabinet you have (or are planning to build)?

Thanks for your help.
I am adding it to a cabinet then doing the plexiglass thing
over the display like a real arcade cabinet.
Yes, it will fit, I checked the dimensions.
I can negotiate a lower price from him if he is flexible.
John St. Clair states in his book "Project Arcade" that 27" is ideal,
so this is pretty close.
