Title: Midnight Resistance function

Hi,

I don't have my MAME set up ready to play yet, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the game "Midnight Resistance" is playable with a standard joystick on MAME.

The game originally had a four way joystick that rotated clockwise and counter clockwise to aim the gun.

Any info. is truly appreciated.

I have it on mine and it's playable but kinda awkward.  You can make it so pushing one of the buttons rotates your aim clockwise and another button rotates counter clockwise.  It takes some getting used to, especially when your in trying to rotate fire and jump all at once, but like I said it will work.

You can also get a joystick that rotates like that and hook it either to an MK64 keyboard controller or pick up Druin's interface.  Then you have no comprimise.
