i dont get this game, why do i get penalized for uncovering the girl isnt that the point of the game? she turns into like a pumpkin monster eventually, i tried outlining everything but her and it gives you like no % to finish. can someone explain the rules to this?

I have no idea what the actual rules are, but here's what I've noticed...
1. Outline everything but the girl. However, try to do that in as many big chunks as possible. When you outline a section, try to watch the percentage bar going up. The point of this is to try to get that bar as far up as you can before you start on the girl.
2. When you start on the girl (nice visual, huh?), outline her in smaller chunks. This will keep the percentage bar from going down. And if it does go down, it will only go down in small numbers, usually one at a time.
3. Work fast. There's a time limit.
4. Pump a lot of coins into it. The original game was designed to make you put lots and lots of money into it. The philosophy was: "If you get halfway, you'll wanna see the rest!"
5. Play New Fantasia. It's much better.
Finally, the most important rule of all: Don't ask me how I know all this!

thx for the tips, i kind of knew most of that but at least im not just guessing now. I have been playing fantasia II but i figured more people know what gals panic is.
anyone know the exact rules or some strategies for this?
and im not playing for the porn =P if i wanted porn id look it up, i just find these games hillarious.
oh and btw Taisen Hot Gimmick 3 is the craziest and most hillarious looking game ever, the emulation seems a little messed up for me cause the screen is split in 2. but start it up and watch the opening theres these japanese guys going crazy it reminds me of that show MXC on spike tv

the absolute best one of those games I played was this pachinko game.. Made NO sense, and all I did was bash keys repeatedly, but after a while japanese anime girls would start stripping and stuff?!?! :o
Japanese arcade games are amusing.. for about 20 seconds..

Has anyone ever played a game called Styx? I played this on my IBM PC Jr and it remains one of my favorites. Reason I ask is because Gal Panic reminds me of it. Styx wasn't porn at all, just had to cover the middle with boxes. There was this lined thing, like a tornado, buzzing around in the middle that you had to watch out for when making your boxes. Wish I could find this game!

Try running Qix in mame.
Qix is the original arcade game that Gal's Panic and Styx were based on.

The point system is very simple the reason u lose points is what you are uncovering its not the girls its thoese things that are in the path
the whole point is to hopefully capture 1 of the creates in the path you have uncovered so if there in the block you just uncovered you get higher points.
