Title: FS Gorf restoration project (Bay Area CA)
Post by: dpdelcollo on January 20, 2004, 02:45:01 am
Because I am moving and because I have never finished the project, I am forced to sell my Gorf Restoration project.  In its current state I have checked out the power supply, monitor, boardset and cage and everything has checked out 100% through replacement into a working machine.  yet the game still does not work.  The only parts that I have not yet been able to check out or replace have been the RGB interface board and the Audio Amp/service switch.  I have been watching Ebay for the parts but have yet to see them go cheaply enough to get me to actually bid on them (they tend to go for about $10-20 each).  I have been sitting on this machine with the intention of getting it back up and running and just never got around to it and now I need to move in two weeks.

some words about the condition:
Side art joystick, bezel, control panel, its all here and looks to be in pretty good shape, both the top and bottom marquee are superb.   The metal control panel is in really good shape considering how they usually get worn down.  Other that that this machine looks to be in really great shape.

Id like to get $250 for it, local pickup highly prefered.  The game is located in the El Sobrante, which is in the Bay Area of CA.  If you are interested, contact me and we can start negotiations.  I will accept trade offers, but since I am moving, my junk aquiring tendancies are way down.  As I said before I am moving in 2 weeks, but if I cant sell this machine it will be left behind in storage for a later date, Id rather convert it to cash and get back to my Mame project.  thanks for looking and hope to hear from you soon.

I can't belive nobody want this. If it were within 200 miles of me I'd be all over it.

If you still have it early next week, I can prolly swing it.

Unfortunately I need to wait a few days for the wife to cool off. It seems I've been spending money like crazy on my own projects.

If it's still arround on Monday or so PM me. I can make room in the game room for it.

A true classic

I have tried unsuccessfully to contact you regarding my gorf.  I have only a couple of days.  If anyone else is interested, now is the time.
