I just got done modding my first arcade stick with iL buttons and an iL Eurostick. Now that I've done so, while refastening the quick disconnects, I notice that they are quite loose, almost to the point of falling off.
I had a tough time getting them to come off at first, but now it seems they don't fit right, or are just way too loose. I had read a couple other forums about how to loosen them with a tab, but I never feel I really found that tab. I just moved them left/right and carefully pulled them off.
What are some steps I can take to be sure they'll stay on before closing up the panel? Thanks for any advice.

I assume that you are referring to the tab side (not the wire side) of the QD.
The curled contacts on the female QDs (right half of pic) may have bent up a bit.

A ***gentle*** squeeze with pliers on the curled contacts will tighten them.
If possible, tighten them when they are already connected.

Thanks for the welcome and the advice, Scott! This really clears it up.
I had been squeezing the QD gently with pliers, so maybe I'll just double check a few spots when I have the chance.
