I'm not looking for advice or to start yet another monitor debate lol.
Anybody out there have hands on a 4:3 flat panel monitor 22"-24" for my current project? Would suit me better than the 16:10 monitor I had planned to use. If so name your price and we will see what happens
Thanks.

Same here - Samsung 214T - nice 21.3" 1600x1200 IPS panel with great viewing angles.

21.3" was about it for 4:3 lcd production. If'n you want bigger you gotta get a 16x9 and bezel down or sum such.

I picked up at Samsung 213t a while ago but whilst viewing angle/size/blacks were great the lag seemed terrible. Is that a problem you've noticed? Or is it just because it was running from my laptops vga port? (No idea if this makes a difference but it killed all interest in me using it in a cab)

IIRC the 213T was a 25ms refresh panel while the 214T used a newer 8ms panel :dunno
Just wish the price of Eizo's 26.5" 1:1 monitor would come down so it could be used -- http://www.anandtech.com/show/8740/eizo-announces-the-ips-265-flexscan-ev2730q-monitor-with-1920x1920-resolution (http://www.anandtech.com/show/8740/eizo-announces-the-ips-265-flexscan-ev2730q-monitor-with-1920x1920-resolution)
But the $1200+ price tag pretty much rules them out for now !

That Ezio monitor would be the one to rule them all if it wasn't such an insane price.
I'll keep a lookout for a 214t. I always like a stock of monitors for when i get the urge. Must have about 10 spares kicking around - including crts while i can still get them ;D

I don't notice any lag on my Samsung, but then again, the games I'm really serious about I play them on original CRTs. So if there were issues, I wouldn't really notice.
