You can also send it to my email n_haest@hotmail.com thx in advance
-
hey what plans are you using to build the cabinet from?
check here for the artwork... http://www.arcadeartwork.org/ (http://www.arcadeartwork.org/) they should have it :)
-
Thx for helping nintendoid, but these scans are in bad quality. No one else who have good files? I really need them
-
No one who have artwork of that cab :-(
-
I looked into artwork for this before, hence why I asked you about cabinet plans as I would have loved to build one and then reprinted the art etc.... unfortunately I couldn't find any.... I did however find unused art on eBay.com but the cost of shipping etc... was to much. (I did even try to redraw in photoshop but just couldn't get the textures right :(
Only way is to find a NOS and scan it to preserve the template.

Hey,
I wanted to build a ki cab but scales down a bit ,exact the same as the arcade but a little bit smaller because the normal cab is a bit too big and heavy and i like more the size like an Donkey Kong cab.
-
So were you planning on building a replica KI cabinet just scaled down or just a generic cabinet with KI artwork?
-
Replica KI build but just scaled down a bit
So as long i dont have the artwork i cant build it
-
allright i give up, time to fovus on building a digitall pinball machine then
-
I can tell you that making a pinball machine is way more difficult then a cabinet. If the artwork already stops you from making one, then i suggest you really read into pinball making.

Do you happen to have the KI cabinet plans to share?
I'd like to do one.. and I know once I have the cabinet i'm sure to find the artwork somehow :P
-
You can find the plans on jakobud.com website i got it from there
-
The plans on Classic Arcade Cabinets (http://www.classicarcadecabinets.com/ (http://www.classicarcadecabinets.com/)) are more faithful to the real dimensions, from what I've read.
Here you go: http://www.classicarcadecabinets.com/killer-instinct.html (http://www.classicarcadecabinets.com/killer-instinct.html)

while waiting some other plans I may have a go at this cabinet during the winter... does anyone know what type of wood this cabinet was made from?
I'll keep searching for the artwork, but seems that there be more success of finding it in the USA than here in the UK. However I'll keep searching, if you find anything please let me know :)
-
Yeah i search with you butt still nothing if i find something i lett you know :-)
-
So there is some artwork available on eBay.com (original marquee & control panel stickers, guy wont ship to UK so cant buy and scan :-\ )
Also a guy who is selling side art (dont buy this) seems that its a poor repro to the original, it may suit your purposes but not mine. There is an ongoing project for people to get this artwork and clean up but seems to be a while away still :(
If anything comes up in the UK, I will check it out and hopefully scan some.

Ok thx :-)

Will the two on this page help, the file says it is at 300dpi

Pixel dimensions are 4700 Px tall. That means it's 300 dpi at 15" tall. Scaled up to 3 feet tall you're talking about 125 dpi.... which will look pretty pixelated when output.
I would consider it low res.

Still nothing
