Yo gentlemen !
I've been trying to take screnshots ingame (bgfx, fullscreen, intoverscan) but neither the print scr. key nor a dedicated software will capture the actual game.
Using print scr. key I only capture the desktop behind, not the emulator's video output.
Using Gadwin PrintScreen, which lets you select whether you want to capture actual fullscreen, window, or a custom selectable area...I only get an entirely black picture.
Any ideas ? Thanks !
PS: btw this is Win 8.1 64bit with latest GM 0.176

F12 in mame saves an image of screen to the snaps directory. Try that

Thanks but no, I am not looking at taking MAME snapshots here.

Thanks it is better than PrintScreen but the problem persists, it captures either the desktop or a black screen.
IMHO it is a problem with using intoverscan, probably neither Windows nor any screen capture software has considered this specific case.
EDIT: so I've been running in circles trying to find a solution for this but it looks like there is no way at the moment, the overscan thing completely confuses any screenshot method.
Though it worked with D3D before, so maybe it's really something with BGFX.
