Title: Demul & Crazy Taxi wheel calibration
Post by: MydknyteStyrm on August 06, 2016, 12:26:05 pm
I am using a Thrustmaster FGT 3in1 wheel, pedals are combined, and I have calibrated Crazy Taxi on Demul via the JVS test menu / Volume Settings.

The issue is, when the wheel is centered, it registers as 80H. If I go all the way to the right, 7eH, but when I go all the way to the left, it registers as 80H, the same as the Center register.

I deleted the nvrams from Demul for Crazy Taxi, and used the default settings. It works for a little while, the wheel is ultra sensitive in game, and if I turn too far left or right, its as if the controls get reversed or out of whack, since I assume that far left "re-centers" the wheel. Is there something I am missing in terms of where my register should be when I turn the wheel? Works fine in Mame.

Thanks for any insight you can provide.

Sounds exactly how 18-wheeler worked for me.
Your demul emulator is working as much as you can hope.
Guess i don't have to install the latest one to find out if they fixed it now.
