Title: X-MEN 6 player: monitor & other issues
Post by: lemonhead on August 06, 2016, 12:02:19 am
I recently pulled my behemoth Konami 6-player x-men arcade out of storage. A friend decided he wanted to commission it in his tabletop gaming store, so I figured I would fix the broken caster wheels and fire it up & check to make sure it was working. When it booted up I was met with this:

as well as a sound chip that has finally given up and colossus' credit circuit seems to be stuck on, making it impossible to register credits or play his character. Nothing I have read seems to yield any suggestions on how to fix the monitor, only some crt repairman jargon explaining about magnetic coils not being fully in sync.. Any ideas?

To fix the monitor, you simply need to adjust the H.Hold pot. For the stuck input, make sure the resistor pack on that input is good.
