Title: Cherrymaster 25" Monitor
Post by: Goz on January 18, 2004, 08:39:05 pm
Hi,

I am trying to figure out which direction to go for the display in my MAME project. I've read about am considering the Wells Gardner D9200. I've seen CherryMaster displays all ver ebay lately

Anyone have any thoughts on the CherryMaster monitors as in good points, bad points, etc...?

The largest monitor I can shoe horn in my cabinet looks to be a 25".

Here's an example of one of the models on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3267757277&category=13716&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBWA%3AIT&rd=1

Thanks in advance for any info.

No Opinions? Common, you people are the experts..

I know that the WG monitors are considered the best, but if you can skate by and still get decent quality...

Anyone... Bueller?... Anyone...

Thanks

I have no experience with the Wells D9200. I only work on analog models.

As for the other monitor that does not appear to be an 8liners chassis setup. It states the monitor comes in a standard tv cabinet and you must transfer your existing arcade monitor hardware, frames, etc over to this one. I guess Victor must have picked up some surplus or closeout monitors somewhere.
