Title: 24" VGA Monitor that can adjust Horizontal and Vertical size
Post by: actman on July 28, 2016, 09:17:29 am
All the new 24" monitors I have looked at will not allow adjustment for Horizontal and Vertical size ( expand the screen in and out)
They only seem to have H and V position (moves screen to right left or up or down)
Does anyone know a new model that would have that feature? It use too be common in the older monitors to have that adjustment option.

I know CRTs that that used to be able to do that, but I don't think I've ever seen an LCD that allows you to do that particular feature. Certainly not widescreen ones either.

Yes I think you are right. They are controlled by a chip now and it auto adjusts. Thanks

I think you can still do it through software.  Video driver software.
