Need a littl ehelp with the following. This is at the bottom of a quarter mech. The quarter mech is single drop of .25 only - nothing else. After two coin drops, then the switch opens and let the power supply fire the solenoid. Power supply is 5v 3amp. Can anyone tell me exactly what this is/manuafacturer/where I could get one, etc?

my best guess is the system is probably made by the company who made the game/machine.
where you just looking to just accumulate the money? or are you looking to rebuild the unit?
if it's the first, there is an easy solution i have used from http://arbortronics.com/ (http://arbortronics.com/) just ring them up and tell them you need an accumulator board to take 2 coins to pulse one credit. (or 3 or 4 or however many you want) I've purchased a few units from them. they'll roll you up a small credit board. just wire it in line and it's good to go.
if you are looking to rebuild, you might be out of luck....you might end up having to manually hand make parts. The company and it's replacement parts are probably long gone.
without knowing what your plans are, or what you have there, I'm not able to suggest too much.

Correct. Looking to accumulate two quarter drops before sending the signal. The photo is from someone else's machine - best photo I could get. The original company just used a standard microswitch, since it was for .25, not .50. My machine is missing the piece in question. So basically, I just need some simple device that performs what I described above - put in two quarters, then close the circuit.

an accumulator board is exactly what you need then. as long as you have a mech with a switch already, you just plop it in the coin switch line and the accumulator does the rest.
if you are handy... with some kind of microcontroller like an arduino or pic it would literally be a dozen lines of code.

Well, not terribly handy with something like that....any links/suggestions for existing products already out there that I could use? Something from Happ or another vendor?
