Not sure what I'm doing wrong here.
I can get a full .xml from rom lister.
I can get a list of 8 way games from rom lister.
If I try to get a list of dual 8 way games I get 0 games.
I would expect at least smash tv, total carnage, and robotron.
If I try to get a list of dual 4 way games I get 0 games.
I would expect at least karate champ.
I havent changed any selection setting from default other than the joysticks and controls settings.
Help!

I'm not sure about romlister, but you may want to check out this thread http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,150785.0.html (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,150785.0.html) Antropus has put together a very nice list generation program that may work for you in what you're trying to do. I've used it a few times now and it does a pretty good job.

Sorry i've been away from here for a few days.
It appears this is a bug in romlister that no one has ever uncovered until now!
Try searching for dual 8 way or 4 way, but then click the single 4-way joystick option and 8-way checkboxes until they turn gray (don't care).
What romlister ended up doing is putting text into your search query that effectively said "give me all the doublejoy4way games but exclude any game that has a joy4way"
In other words, you managed to come up with an impossible to meet search criteria. RL should really be smarter than that.
Hopefully that clears up the issue.
