Hi all, I just acquired a jamma based cabinet with a 2 player control panel. I'd like to add a trackball to it or buy a new panel with the trackball already cut out along with an overlay. I've scoured the web and have been unable to match the control panel up to anything I've found. I'm hoping someone here can help identify and perhaps offer a suggested replacement. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

That's just a generic panel. I doubt it was specific to any particular game.
-
Thanks! Could I just replace it with any panel as long as it's the same length/height?
-
Most likely. From that pic it looks like the panel is just a piece of sheet metal that's been drilled and bolted down. See if you can unbolt it from inside the box and pop it off.

It's hard to tell - is that a Dynamo HS-5? Some examples:

If so, you can probably find something that matches the form factor identically if you need a replacement. These were generic cabs where the control panels were ships either as blanks or pre-drilled, but the dimensions were all the same. I have one that was a two player JAMMA+ config and added a third Pac Man stick in the middle. Should not be too hard to modify what you already have. If its a dynamo, there are latches in the inside at the top that you release, and its the bottom hinge is mounted to a large wood insert inside the can. You may be able to slide the screen cover/plexi up to access the top hinges to release it, otherwise there is an access panel on the back. Don't zap yourself on the monitor if you go that route.

Looks to me like you could drill your existing panel for a 2.25" trackball without even replacing it.

It's hard to tell - is that a Dynamo HS-5?
Not an HS 5, the control panel angles are way off and the coin door isnt centered on the cab.

The panel looks homemade. You aren't ever going to be able to buy another one premade.
