quick question, which pot will shift the whole screen to the left?
-
In general there are "Horiz Position", "Horiz Hold", and "Horiz raster shift".
-
i moved H.SUB.POZI and it was all the way, i moved the pot in the middle of the board (H.POZI) still no good, mine dont have Horiz raster shift or anything like it..
H.Hold made the whole screen go mad, but i got that back...
-
And the make & model of the monitor is....????????
-
the moniter chassis say "KORTEK'' and the tube is samsung
-
On a Kortek monitor the Horizontal Hold, Horizontal Sub Position, and Horizontal position all interact with each other. Try Horiz hold first to rough center the picture then use the horiz position and horiz sub position. If you still can't get the picture centered properly then you need to install a cap kit as the caps have drifted too far off value for the controls to compensate for.

so i have got to use h.hold...
-
looks like im gonna have to get a cap kit... :( >:(
i get it exactly and it wont survive a power-off :(
-
It should lock right in and stay locked in each time you power up. Since it's not doing that then you need a capkit. Chances are yours hasn't had one. Call Zanen Electronics at (806) 829-2780 and order one.
