Title: Ultimarc joystick restrictor
Post by: Mr. Peabody on July 22, 2016, 12:52:25 am
I like the idea of the Mameroom over-the-cp design, but I like Ultimarc's design more. It is intended for use with their sticks (and I assume Sanwas in general), but it looks to me like it could be used for any stick. Also, the base plate would minorly reduce the stick height. Perhaps Andy could comment on the efficacy of this?

Are you talking about their motorized switcher? Or something else?

Looks like some things were lost in the crash. I posted a response around August third. So here it is again.

I meant this.  https://www.ultimarc.com/ultrastik_info.html (https://www.ultimarc.com/ultrastik_info.html)  Bottom of the page.

This could be used with Sanwa JLW sticks.

Not sure about any other type. The physical restriction would need to match the switch actuation positions which would only be the case if a number of factors were correct such as handle diameter, switch close/open points etc.

This is the reason this restrictor is really intended for the Ultrastik 360 which can have the switching position adjusted in software to any location.
