Title: 4 pin arcade buttons help
Post by: roorooroo on July 15, 2016, 08:35:35 am
Hi, i need a couple more buttons to complete my bartop. I bought a diy kit  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-Player-Arcade-Game-DIY-Bundle-Kits-USB-Controller-Joystick-20-LED-Buttons-/262369936682 (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-Player-Arcade-Game-DIY-Bundle-Kits-USB-Controller-Joystick-20-LED-Buttons-/262369936682)
which are illuminated.
I need two more buttons and wondered if there's any others i could buy instead of waiting weeks for them to arrive from China?

They don't have to be illuminated.

Thanks.

Any of the 5v ones should work with what you have, Think these are similar to what you have:

The terminals can usually be adjusted using a flat screwdriver to expand them -- but looks like PL1 linked to ones that are closer to the same ones you have for the same price so might as well get them instead of having to adjust the connectors.

Thanks a lot PL1 Scott, looks like they're the ones i am after.
JDFan, thanks for the info, i'll remember that if i ever need to do so.

edit: just noticed that my encoder supports just 5v and these buttons from the arcadeuk link are 12v?
