Title: Are people still buying Happ Bar stools or are there cheaper clones available?
Post by: Rockstead on July 12, 2016, 03:44:56 pm: I don't see much mention of these on the forum anymore, most messages I see date back to 2005 or prior, I missed the $40 special by about 11 years.

They look like the stools my local arcades used to have, brings back nice memories and I would like to re-create that look/feel and quality.

They are pretty pricey on the Suzo-Happ site, are there nice clones of them available today that people have switched to? or are people paying full price for them? they aren't cheap at $83 + shipping.

I'm guessing it's not even a lone and being manufactured at the same place.

Look, weight, shape, and design of the legs are all identical.‎

Looks pretty much the same - and with the 20% off if you have a retail outlet nearby it's about $28

The Happ clone (which is probably a Happ) I linked are so arcade, I need 4 but maybe I'll buy one to test it out, but it's gotta be the same, maybe I'll just do the 4, I gotta schlep across the border to pick them up. Excellent reviews on Amazon btw.
