Title: Any good picture tutorials for leaf based controls?
Post by: GroovyTuesdaY on January 17, 2004, 10:18:15 pm
I looked high and low on the main BYOAC site and didn't come across any kind of tutorial for installing LEAF based joysticks and buttons. I was trying to find something with some good pictures so when i get my stuff  i will have a good idea what im supposed to do.  Any links to good tutorials dealing with LEAF based controlls would be awesome.

thanks,
G~ :D

Bob has a page about leaf switch buttons.

As far as mounting the joys, there's not a lot involved, at least on a metal panel. On a wood panel you might have to route the back some to mount the base, but there's not a lot of difference between mounting a leaf stick or a microswitch stick. Once it's mounted and you've used it a bit, you might have to adjust the leafswitches, but once that's done you should be good to go for quite awhile.
