Hey guys.  Need some help here...  I purchased an altered beast arcade system which is system 16.  After beating this game 300 times I decided to purchase a pandora's box 4 so I can play all my old favorites.  The pandora box is a jamma unit so I purchased a system 16/24 adapter to jamma.  I got it all in the mail today and hooked up the adapter and then plugged in the pandora box .... Thinking it would be that simple, but I soppose life never is.  Anyway, no video, no sound. Only lights on my coin slots seem to be doing anything..   Would love to get this working. Any recommendations would be awesome.

It looks to me that you bought the exact opposite of what you needed. That board looks like it allows you to play System 16 games in a Jamma cabinet, not the other way around.

Normally this kind of mistake will blow the board up, but I think the board should be fine, since the Pandora box doesn't use the -5 rail that the adapter just shot +12 volts over.

Also, the Pandora's box 4 itself is not jamma either. It breaks the standard wiring for buttons 5 and 6, shooting one of them over what is normally a ground.

 Thanks for getting back. I believe that is exactly what I did. I contacted somebody who is now building me a custom harness that will be JAMA capable for my system 16 and also able to play the Pandora's box. I'll post how it works out
