ok just installed a cap kit in my board put everything back together and now there is no picture the screen stays black the tube is lit in the back and when i turn the machine off the screen blanks to the center maybe hook something up wrong on the main board...

Start with the simple things first. Those are normally the things most often overlooked (at least by me). :)
Now that you have the chassis reinstalled, make sure you have all the wires connected back where they are supposed to be: yoke wires, ground wires, neckboard connections, video input, etc...
Double check the caps you just put in to make sure they are all installed with the correct polarity and you didn't accidentally put one in backwards.
Is the fuse okay? Since the heaters are working, I assume so, but it doesn't hurt to check.

When installing a capkit it's always a good idea to also inspect the solder side of the board closely for bad solder joints. The K7000 series is well known for many bad solder joints developing over time. Pay particular attention to the leads where resistor R89 are soldered to the board, the flyback terminals, horizontal output transistor leads, and connector pins.
