Title: Mame Keyboard Disappeared

Suddenly my keyboard no longer works with MAME?

It's fine in Windows, but if i try to run mame, it does not register the keyboard atall. ...I have tried deleting the default.cfg file, but now it just creates a new blank one?

Any idea what has happened?

Maybe your front-end is doing something weird and somehow mame isn't getting focus for input. Have you tried clicking the mouse while mame is running and then checking if it accepts kb input?
