Hey guys,
I just wanted to let everyone know that the game industry had a strange holiday season, in which a lot of great games sold like crap. Actually, it isn't really uncommon, because the market always floods itself this time of year. Anyhow, as a result, some decent titles are showing up very cheaply now.
Specifically, there are two from Ubisoft: Prince of Persia and Beyond Good and Evil, that are both very worth playing, and are showing up really cheaply.
Beyond Good & Evil is a very pretty, very artistic, cinematic game about a female photojournalist in a near-future society who hangs out with Richard Scarry-like talking animals and discovers that an alien invasion may be happening with the government's permission. I've seen it on sale for $10 at Best Buy, and only $20 most other places. It's on PC, PS2, Xbox, and (I think) GameCube, and I totally recommend it.
Prince of Persia is a more typical, run/jump/kill things with sword platform title, almost like a modern arcade game. It's also very pretty, plays really well, and can be had pretty cheaply. It's on every modern platform as well.
It's not that I'm a shill for Ubisoft. It's just that I think both of these games rock and wouldn't want you guys to miss out on a bargain!
