Title: Voltage on Coin mech?
Post by: jsomethin on January 17, 2004, 09:36:15 am
Hi

I picked up coin mechs from a warehouse, and I'm about to install but I realized I'm not sure what the voltage is (12 or 14 I assume).

It's an over under Coin Controls Inc from 1986, but that's all I can see in the way of markings.

Can anybody help??

thanks!

Are you talking about a complete coin door or just the two 3" by 5" mechs?

I'm failry new, so I'm not sure. I bought a used door with mechs and I'm wondering how to hook them up. I figure the three pronged swithches on the bottom will go directly to my I-Pac, and the lights at the top get hooked up to a power source. But I'm not sure what the voltage is, and I don't want to just guess, and have a potential fire hazard.

Hope that clears it up?

Those lights run great off 12v DC.
