Title: Is nec multisync lcd 2080ux good?
Post by: Oniboi on June 16, 2016, 03:51:33 pm
So I have two  4:3 monitor's  ones a 20" nec multisync lcd 2080ux and the other a 17" HP vp17. I started my 2player Bartop build with the Hp but now after putting my Bartop together I'm thinking a 17" would look to small in a 26x25x24 (HxWxD) cabinet. Is the Nec any good? The HP was great but now to small.

i'd worry more about viewing angles than black levels and response times and whatnot.

some TFT and TN panels have some pretty bad viewing angles where the image disappears or ghosts.

where IPS type panels have great viewing angles.

I would sacrifice authenticity for better viewing by using a new model TV. I bought one at $150 for my main computer system and am loving it. The backlighting isn't terrible, either.
