Title: GM 0.171 does it have Hi-Score support? about to update from 0.151 to 0.171

I think I'm ready to update from 0.151 to 0.171 I have the ROMs and I know I'm going to have to use the newer version of VMM to update my modelines. Did a System Restore save point in case I stuff something up and want to roll back.

But from memory I read somewhere in the multiple guides and help posts that the Hi Score patch has been dropped from recent GM releases is that right? If so how do I get high score support back? I don't want to update if I can't transfer my old scores over in my HI folder.

Hi, the mkchamp HI score support is inside the GM version up to 0.171 (the latest available version). The introduction of the LUA script for HI is coming with MAME release from 0.172 onward.
