Hi. I've almost decided to build a twin racing setup but I just watched MrThunderwig's YouTube videos and I'm not so sure anymore :/
Is linked gameplay this choppy?

Sega Rally is a lot more jittery than Daytona for some reason, I think the Framesync option in the ini file can improve things a bit. I'm doing these over a wireless LAN, I'm not sure there's any improvement with a wired connection as I still get jittery cars if I'm doing single system play:

(Although I don't think it looks quite as bad here). I think SailorSat was working on a tool to improve this...?

What the heck is going on with the timer halfway in that video?! Lol :) The jerkiness actually looks somewhat better in that video though.
Anyone else got any experience to share? I Don't have the setup to try link mode atm.

I've often run two screens on the same computer and it was buggy like that. The m2lagfix program worked wonders on my computer.

The download and instructions are in post #110.

I thought the lag fix only worked for an 8 way network?
5a. YOU NEED A 8 PLAYER NETWORK! IT DOES NOT WORK WITH LESS UNITS YET
Have you been able to run it in a 2 player setup?
Edit: Ignore me. I should've read down a bit further.

I really need to learn how to "hook" into other processes functions and "fix" that stuff at the core though :)
That external tools are a pain in the ass :(
But I'm am way to lazy at the moment :D - http://images.arianchen.de/?x=sega-comm/model1 (http://images.arianchen.de/?x=sega-comm/model1)
