Title: Splitting controller outputs?
Post by: skorch on January 17, 2004, 12:52:03 am
Hi all.
My friend is building his cab and want's to add a Dreamcast to it. He'd like to know if there's a way for  both the PC and Dreamcast to share the (Happs) controllers/buttons. Can it be done by running two sets of wire from the same controllers, one to an encoder for PC and one set to a hacked DC controller?

Thanks in advance for the help.

I Wouldn't see why not, as long as they are not both being used at the same time.  Although im not sure if there would be any kind of electrical feedback for somthing of that nature though, since your talking about two different electrical sources.  I would think as long as both aren't plugged in at the same time, it wouldn't hurt.
Maybe someone else can chime in with some better electrical experience.

good luck! :)
