Title: model2 in hyperspin execute in background
Post by: eldiego on May 17, 2016, 11:29:42 pm
Hi, i am having problems with model2 and hyperspin, when i run a game of model 2 from hp in the first start appear correctly, but if i return to list of model 2 and run the same or other game this time the game run in background. Any idea? with mame list and hp i don īt have any problem.

I don't use Hyperspin, but I do remember that model 2 emulator won't close completely via a keyboard key.  You have to use some other program to close it.
I used a program called closemul to make the escape key close it.
It could be that model 2 is exiting the game, but not the emulator.

Is Model 2 exiting completely when you exit the game?
(is it still running in task manager?)

yes it close completely. Is very stranger because the first time open normal, second time no open (if i press esc return to normally list hyperspin). Out of hyperspin works fine. i was making a lot of test and nothing. I have other daytona module with no problems.

is something about my nvidia drivers 175.31 because i open a game from hp (mame or model 2) in the task manager it appear nvsvc32.exe, when i exit the game emulator close but this file remains in the task m. If i kill this process work fine one and every times that i open the model2 game.
i need a command to add in a hyperlaunch ahk to kill this process when model 2 start. If anybody can help me i appreciate

nvsvc32.exe is the network verification service in windows.  I don't want to scare you, but having that service hang is often a symptom of a corrupted windows install and/or malware.  You might want to run an anti-malware app just to be on the safe side.
