Haven't settled on a name for this one yet, but it's nearly done. Need a bezel, still have to throw a few coats of paint on the right side, add right side's t-molding, and haven't got the computer totally configured yet. But I'm close. Close enough to play. ;)

Close up of CP. That's a Vortex spinner with the Tempest knob to the left of the main stick. I have two other CPs for the cab, one with two tall blue leaf sticks for Robotron and two player games, and one with a trackball.
BTW, if you are still trying to decide on a spinner, stop trying right now and just get the Vortex already. :)

Couple more details, since I don't have a website up yet.
Using Red Hat Linux 9.0 and AdvanceMAME .70 on a 750 MHz Pentium III with 256 Mb RAM, with a Matrox G400 video card. Interfaced with an IPAC and Oscar's USB spinner interface. The coin door is a working restoration of the cabinet's original coin door. I stripped it and had it sandblasted and powder coated. Wow does it look and feel good. The monitor inside is a new 19" WG.
Still need a coin door logo plate...I could also use one single short green leaf switch button. Anyone have one they can donate to the cause? ;) Looking for a new one, thanks.
Also, the coin door on the bottom is for sale/trade. Let me know if you're interested. It's sized for a Willams cabinet, I believe. It certainly fits old Williams pinball cabinets. Working coin mechs are included.

Here is the machine as I received it. It was a Galaxian converted to a Legend of Kage...there was one step in between, too. God only knows what that was.

Very Clean looks great.. what does the plus stand for as in what other games are you running..?
-
I just put that marquee on there because I have fond memories of Pac Man Plus from my childhood. That and I figured it runs "Pac Man Plus a whole bunch of other stuff." Like everything MAME has to offer :)
I have an extra PMP marquee that I'm willing to trade/sell if anyone is interested.

Looks lovely. The white is a lot more easy on the eye than the usual yellow. Did your wife make you paint it white? ::)
Seeing all these retro cabinets getting finished makes me wish I would just get on with my own cabinet :P
-
Yeah, I figured it'd be easier to convince her to let me bring it up from the basement if it was white. It worked. :) Unfortunately we are possibly about to move to a farm house where there may very well not be room for it, so I might have to put it in storage for a while. Guess I'll have to build a cocktail. ;)

LOL, my wife insists on something like cherry wood (to match the rest of the furniture). I wonder if it will ever look good though :P But then, who cares, as long as it plays games.
You do really need to get that bezel though. That would make it look a lot more authentic I guess. Or go for the cocktail cab ;D

Yeow is that even the same machine!! Great work.

Looking good! A bezel & side art will make this one a real knockout. Very nice work.
