I got three Rev X guns off ebay. The plan is to get the recoil to work with mame and whatever other emus I can. I seen retro repairs video and have asked for help in the parts I need to make the recoil work. That was a few weeks ago and still have not heard back. I have read a few thread and watched videos, but none list the parts you need. In retro repairs video, he says he is using a relay and a pac-drive to fire the recoil. I have the pac-drive but dont know what relay to get. I have a 24v power supply I plan to use. Any help would be great!!

Any relais within the range of the power supply will work.
This for example: http://www.ebay.com/itm/5V-Four-4-Channel-Relay-Module-With-optocoupler-For-PIC-AVR-DSP-ARM-Arduino-8051-/201498785043?hash=item2eea437513:g:gKoAAOSw1DtXIdXL (http://www.ebay.com/itm/5V-Four-4-Channel-Relay-Module-With-optocoupler-For-PIC-AVR-DSP-ARM-Arduino-8051-/201498785043?hash=item2eea437513:g:gKoAAOSw1DtXIdXL)
You could also go solid state: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1pcs-5v-4-Channel-OMRON-SSR-G3MB-202P-Solid-State-Relay-Module-For-Arduino-/400985463153?hash=item5d5c989971:g:uOcAAOSw~gRVinY~ (http://www.ebay.com/itm/1pcs-5v-4-Channel-OMRON-SSR-G3MB-202P-Solid-State-Relay-Module-For-Arduino-/400985463153?hash=item5d5c989971:g:uOcAAOSw~gRVinY~)
I'm using the first one. The solid state board has a rating of 2A for each channel which is a little too close for me so I went with the mechanical one. You could of course use these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/24V-380V-40A-250V-SSR-40-DA-Solid-State-Relay-Module-3-32V-DC-To-AC-/201414937205?hash=item2ee5440a75:g:0MoAAOSwD0lUduWt (http://www.ebay.com/itm/24V-380V-40A-250V-SSR-40-DA-Solid-State-Relay-Module-3-32V-DC-To-AC-/201414937205?hash=item2ee5440a75:g:0MoAAOSwD0lUduWt)
As for wiring... you can either switch power or ground. Each gun needs around 2A so be sure your power supply has enough power.

Forget all that.
My relais started melting inside. They can't handle it. Also, you need a DC-DC solid state. This:

I already bought these http://www.amazon.com/uxcell-SSR-25-3-32V-24-380V-Solid/dp/B0087ZTN08?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00 (http://www.amazon.com/uxcell-SSR-25-3-32V-24-380V-Solid/dp/B0087ZTN08?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00) Hope they work. I have this power supply http://www.amazon.com/MEAN-WELL-SP-240-12-Supply-Single/dp/B005T6U2BW/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1463011963&sr=8-15&keywords=240v+15amp+power+supply (http://www.amazon.com/MEAN-WELL-SP-240-12-Supply-Single/dp/B005T6U2BW/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1463011963&sr=8-15&keywords=240v+15amp+power+supply)

Relais won't work. Have to be DC/DC. These are DC/AC. Won't switch. That power supply is way overpowered but will work just fine.
-
I ordered new relays and the power supply is adjustable. Are you working on the same thing?

I had a t2 cab that i wanted to mame. Sold it. Just started to miss it but don't have the space so i got myself revx Guns. Wanted to go the arduino road but having nothing but trouble.

Hi I'm edu I working in convert to Mame one revolution x cabinet
I allredy set up all bouttons and pots all
Games work great using A-PAC now I'm using mamehooker
To get outputs. And using ultimarc PAC - drive to get this outputs to work
Now gun leds began to work but not sure how. To use solid state relay
I bought the one u recommend here and 24v power suplay but now sure how to make
The circuit work
I think in should got 2 wires from PAC drive to solid state relay input and the.
Other 2 wires from solid state relay one to solenoid other one to power suply and from power supley to
Solenoid ??? Not sure

Not sure if this helps but each circuit is less than $10 parts and will activate a solenoid for the required length of time when the trigger is earthed.
