Hi- I know it's possible to set MAME to "enforce aspect ratios" so that the games display in 4:3 instead of stretching to fill the screen (widescreen TV) but I can't seem to figure out how to get it set. I know it's a global setting and I've looked through all the options in the Hyperspin UIs and just can't seem to find it. If someone can tell me how to do this, I will be a very happy guy!

Try this.

Thanks, I'll give it a try tonight! I'm struggling a bit because someone else set up my system for me so I'm a total noob at finding where are the controls, settings, etc., are. I think that's part of the problem I'm having is that I'm not really sure where I should be looking for things. I'm doing a lot of research and reading, though, so I'm starting to understand it more!

The video is longer than it needs to be (4mins) but it's clear and I used it to do the same thing that you are trying to do.
Some games need to be 4:3 in Mame otherwise they look like crap. This video will show you how to do it on a game by game basis and Mame will remember it so everytime you open hyper spin no issues.
Goodluck!

Well, I might be beyond help but I'm such a noob at this that I don't even know how to get to the view that he's using so I can try making the settings change. :( I've been learning my way around HyperLaunchHQ and I've spent a bunch of time looking through the various settings there to try and figure this out but can't seem to find it.

No problemo.
The settings are not through hyper spin at all.
They are through the MAME exe. Find your MAME program open it and make the changes. Easy breezy.
