Hello
I have a 60832220 Central control computer for the CD100. It has a new battery and new Eprom with code version 4.3 installed. The problem is the computer loses its memory even when the power is on. For instance, I'll set the jukebox to free play and I'll be able to play one song. once I make the selection it loses its free play status and goes back to 0 credits. I tried manually adding credits to it and it won't count up. There has to be a chip bad on the CCC somewhere, just not sure which one. All resistors and capacitors look good. I even put in another battery and eprom chip just to make sure they weren't bad.
Please help.
Thanks

Thanks Ed. One follow up question. Is the NVRAM in location U14 on the board, labeled CMOS RAM 8K X 8 6264?
Much appreciated.

no that should be reqular cmos ram
just follow the battery + wire back to the chip.
if it is? ok? if not then it might be labled like dallas-xx-xx or if u have the schematic ? (timekeeper/play hit keeper) or such
if u are having problems id-ing it just state it i will dig out a schmeatic
edit:
bat dose go to u14 through d17 and then leads off to u2d (bad bat flag chip)
so to answer u yes u were right..my bawd..

I unsoldered the old CMOS chip and a new one is on the way. I will let you know if that fixed it.
Thanks again.

that should fix u up,now remeber to go through the re-int-process
ie allow it to scan all 100 disks etc, time of day/free play yak yak

Changing the CMOS IC seemed to work.
