I ama complete noobie when it comes to monitors. I have teleworking WgD9200 monitors. I am thinking of building a 4 player cabinet for things like Gauntlet to NFL Blitz. So they will range from low to medium resolution. I have heard about the reliability etc but it is what I have. Does the D9200 switch to low resolution automatically? Or will have to rewire?6 I am a little confused by the seperate vga and cga connections. I plan on using groovey mame or arcadevga. Would it look ok if I just left it in medium or would the older games look bad, remember I have only used LCD. So I am used to beer and not wine lol.

D9200 switches frequencies automatically. VGA and CGA connectors do the same thing, so you can use the VGA connector for all resolutions.
Recommend GroovyMAME and a CRT_Emudriver supported video card:
