I'm using the Mini-Pac with harness with a two-player table top arcade that I built. It's running via Raspberry Pi3 with the latest version of Retropie. I'm having an few issues that I was wondering if you could assist.
- Emulation Station only recognizes one of the two joysticks on the Mini-Pac. I can use the GUI to configure player one on either joystick. But no option for player two. Once I configure via emulation station, all of the home console switches work correctly (NES, SNES, Genesis, etc.). Any idea how to add player 2 controls? I assume I need to edit a config file (most likely retroarch.cfg) but I'm not 100%.
- None of the buttons work for MAME roms. I can use the joysticks to move but none of the action buttons are configured correctly. I assume I need to configure Retroarch, which I've attempted many different times, but I can never figure out what I'm doing wrong. I used Winimac to configure all the switches, and have tested them in command line. They all work outside of MAME. Any idea how to configure retropie for MAME via Mini-Pac. Surprisingly, there is not a lot of info online where people have written about doing this. I'm using advmame and mame4all roms.
Here's a pic of my unit thus far. It's two joysticks, six arcade buttons per, six other buttons for coin in, start 1 and 2, escape rom/emulator, pause, etc.
