Hi there,
I'm building a three sided cocktail cabinet, with the long 3rd side having two sets of controls and buttons for 2 player side-by-side gaming. For 2 player games like Moon Patrol, BurgerTime, etc., when it's player 2's turn, I want the control to shift to the second joystick/buttons on that side, but I don't want the screen to flip. In the MAME options for the game, I've setup each controller and mapped it to the Player 1 and Player 2 controls, however when I play two player, only the Player 1 controls ever work. The only way I can get the Player 2 controls to work is to change the DIP settings to Cocktail, but then it flips the screen upside down as well. Is there a way to have it run in Cocktail mode but not flip the screen?
Using a xinmo 2 player board.
Thanks!

For alternating-play horizontal monitor games like Moon Patrol and Burgertime, there are several ways to approach this:
1. Have the players take turns using P1 controls like the original upright cab did.
2. Have MAME respond to both P1 and P2 controls at the same time.
