Title: T2 arcade help
Post by: campbell87 on March 14, 2016, 06:48:45 am
Hi Guys,

I have recently purchased a T2 arcade cab in really good condition. Guns work etc and the display is good. I have a few issues that im hoping someone can help with.

The image on the screen has a slight wobble to it, you cant notice it that much when playing but it is slightly annoying.

there is slight discoloration in the screen which i assume will need degaussing? The chassis i have is a wei-ya. Not sure on the model of it as it came already in the cab

the grounding appears to be ok, i have moved the transformer to try get rid of the wobble but its not helping.

The degaussing cable, when connected to the chassis will trip the fuse :s. If i remove it then its fine.

the tube i have is a Zenith EIA 1101 25"

any help would be much appriciated.

Thanks

Dan

Recap the monitor and see if the degauss cable still trips the fuse and see if your other problem goes away.

Ultimately step 1 to any monitor problem is recapping it because almost every monitor problem can possibly be caps.

If no one sells an off the rack kit for your chassis then you have to write them down and order them individually from mouser. Wei-ya likely makes more than one model so you need the model too.
