Title: Mouse button AND / OR Regular Button

I have my Trackball buttons 1, 2 and 3 as Mouse buttons.  I set them up in MAME so that they are the same as P1B1, B2, B3.  When I play a game, say Missle Command, I push Mouse Button 1 by the Trackball and Mousebutton 3 Fires at the same time.  What am I missing?
Thanks in advance,  I'll get this stuff figured out sooner or later =p

The buttons are ONLY wired up to mouse buttons?  If so I'd clear your key configurations and start over to see what happens.
