Title: 3 Volt Battery on Mortal Kombat 2 board?
Post by: Sylentwulf on January 14, 2004, 02:17:30 pm
On the mortal Kombat 2 board (And probably many other boards) there is a 3v "watch battery". Without going and finding it, I wanna say a BR2325.

Question is, I can't seem to find a repalcement battery. I have plenty of CR2032 Battery's that are also Lithium 3V and roughly the same size.

Since the voltages are the same, and it looks like it will fit in there, is it ok to use the CR2032 as a substitute, or should I make sure to use the same replacement battery?

Thanx!

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that if the voltages and amperages match then its ok.  i did this with my laptop cmos battery and it works fine.  you could also google the two battery numbers and see the various specs that are out there, and see if there's any discrepancies.
