Title: Where are my PCB repair guys at? (How to ID cold solder)

Working on some boards, do you expert repair types see anything fishy about these ICs? Maybe U21?

It is probably fine, although the left side looks a little funny. Set your multimeter to test continuity and test all those connections on the left side.

On U23, is that a hair lying across the traces?

Nice catch, clean that off, it probably isn't conductive, but if it was.....

Agree. Take a qtip with alcohol to it and see if the pieces clean up nice.

Also, what's on the left side of u23? Looks like a silver colored thread? (not the dark hair). Is that a trace jumper?
