All,
I am trying to build an Ikari Warriors CP and need some SNK LS-30 rotating joysticks. I am willing to pay a premium for these joysticks if anyone has 2 for sale.
Thanks,
Andy

These are the ones I'm looking for but you probably already knew that.
Thanks!

These are really hard to find, I rarely see them here or klov or jamma+ forums. They pop up on ebay periodically but they're expensive. The last one went for $148, a pair back in December went for $120 which is surprisingly low.

I know they will be expensive but once I played Ikari Warriors at The Galloping Ghost a couple weeks ago, I want to build a CP for my cabinet and buy the playable PCBs.

Have you considered using Happ Rotary (http://www.arcadeemulator.net/cgi-bin/shop/cp-app.cgi?usr=51F1718827&rnd=3386414&rrc=N&affl=&cip=68.13.139.223&act=&aff=&pg=prod&ref=Rotary+Joystick&cat=Joysticks&catstr=HOME:Joysticks) joysticks instead? (P/N 50-5618-00)
The main electrical difference is the pinout.
The Ultimarc Rotary Joystick Interface pinout matches the Happ Rotary joystick pinout.

There are other rotary encoder interface options to consider here (http://newwiki.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?title=Rotary_Encoders) if you want to go the MAME route.

Great info! I may try the Happ rotary joysticks if my search for the SNK LS-30 joysticks fails. I'm going to mess around with the Data East sticks too but I still want the real deals from SNK.
Thanks again for the very helpful picture. I haven't stumbled across that image in all of my searching for info on these crazy sticks.

Even more great info! Thanks!
Now if can just buy a pair of the SNK LS-30 sticks. I saw a couple of old used CPs on ebay but they are too expensive for used and potentially worn out sticks.
