Hi guys.
Does anyone have a set of blueprints for the X-Arcade Tankstick with all the correct dimensions, hole sizes, placement etc.
Basically I am looking for this http://thydzik.com/stick/xarcade.jpg (http://thydzik.com/stick/xarcade.jpg) but for the tankstick.

Didn't find any blue prints, but Recroom Masters has an overlay that has the same dimensions. I'm guessing you could print that out and use it as a template.
Here's a link to the page:

Here's the template file:

Hope this helps.

That is a nice start, thank you.
Would anyone know the hole diameter for the joystick and buttons on the tankstick?

Sticks and buttons use 1 1/8" holes.

Thanks.
What would be better to cut the holes with, flat wood drill bit or the circular hole saw?

Thanks.

Either of those will work, but I prefer a forstner bit like this one (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004RK4U?). YMMV. ;D

If you end up using a flat bit, drill until the center part of the bit pokes through and then drill from the other side.
The edges on the surfaces will come out clean that way instead of chipping on the backside.
I also do this when using hole saws, but it isn't as necessary as long as you aren't pushing with much force.
