Title: Firetrap..aka Electrohome G-08 question
Post by: Frostillicus on June 30, 2002, 06:16:53 pm
My friend(no, really) bought an old sega convert-a-game system, the old vector kind...let the problems begin ???.
needless to say we are having troubles getting it going - supposedly the Zecktor boards are in there..but we haven't gotten it going to confirm it.

Anyways, by the time I got in on the fix-it project he had just bought a refurbished Electrohome G-08 monitor.  Apparently this thing used to catch fire a lot, from what I've read on the web.

He's getting so frustrated with his machine, he asked if there was a way to connect his PC to the monitor input.  I said I have no idea, probably not, but I'd ask the experts  :)   I thought it would be cool if there was a kit, interface, or plans and software out there somewhere.  Anyone have any experience with this?
I'm assuming a vector monitor has a different sort of input than a regular monitor.
THANKS
