This chassis wire was disconnected from its origin when I bought the game. Any idea where the unconnected end should be installed exactly? It seems to be a ground wire...but I dont see any part or place that seems appropriate for it.

Oh damn, could it be this spot on the neck board? Neck boards have 2 ground wires connected to them, right? Looks like a wire was broken off at the base of the board.
What kinda damage would that have done if the game was run without this wire grounded?

no damage would be done

Also, upon close inspection of the rubber anode cup on my new flyback Ive noticed there is a very small pinhole that goes through the rubber. Its barely noticeable but Im wondering if this will pose a problem with arcs flying out? Surely not, right??

Supremely unlikely. Calm your tits by putting a small piece of electrical tape on it.

Thanks bro, I figured, just wanted to be sure. Commencing tit calming now! :lol

That is exactly where the wire should be soldered to. There is a reading of 8K I believe on the neck board where that wire should attach. The grounding wire is then bolted to your chassis next the flyback. If you turned the game on without that wire connected then the tube would not turn on. No damage will have occurred as a result. I did the same thing ;)

Great, thanks buddy, I appreciate it! I soldered it to the board and all is working (besides an unrelated issue with a dim monitor). Thanks!
