This is a cabinet that I finished a few months ago.
While I used the forum's resources, I was not in a state of mind to document everything and open a progress thread.
But, hopefully someone will find something useful in my plans and artwork files (The artwork is hardly original. Merely tweaks on the SF2 art that is circulating here).
The print was done by Brad (Lucian), and it was magnificent.
I'll be happy to help anyone who want to use this material.
Enjoy.

Thanks for sharing!! Killer build!!

Not my kind of cab or game, but still a very impressive build! Just in time for the SF 25th anniversary, too. ;D

I love this! Do you have any more photos or info on this or the build? I'm starting my next one soon and I may totally use this as a blueprint.

Mate - thank you so much.
I'm just looking to start my build and was leaning towards a SF theme. Still not sure that I will go with an SF theme but at least your artwork will give me a base for my design.
Cab looks awesome. Thank you again!

Great of you to share your art and plans. Even better that you shared the PSDs, have the layers grouped, and used a clipping mask instead of cutting into the character files :applaud:

What are the dimensions of the monitor you used for this cab?

I've uploaded some pictures to a Dropbox Album:

Few things that I had to learn the hard way:
- Don't use simple spray paint directly on Formaica... It peels off with every small hit and scratch. Use good primer and paint (I used a roller to apply it).
- When trying to remove said paint, don't waste time and sand paper. Paint thinner is your friend!
- If you can, use water based primer and paint. Soooooo much easier to clean your tools, hand and surrounding.
- When cutting doors, plan for a small gap between the door and the panel, and cut the door slightly shorter. Perfect fit exists only in CAD ;)
- Don't skimp on the joysticks and buttons. You can feel the difference between super cheap ones and even "normal" quality joysticks like Zippy.

What are the dimensions of the monitor you used for this cab?
Its a Samsung T260, 26" monitor:

What are the little protrusions on the front of the panel?

What are the little protrusions on the front of the panel?
I just took a quick glance at the cut diagrams and I think they are drawer pulls. I think that's a keyboard drawer.

What are the little protrusions on the front of the panel?
Its the Volume and Bass knobs.
I took apart an Altec Lansing vs2621 speakers and mounted the circuit board inside the control panel box, with hot glue and a small piece of wood.
