Title: Looking for information on this game
Post by: jan25th on February 12, 2016, 01:13:28 pm
Google can't find anything for Tech-Tron. It is being sold locally for $200. Listed as working but haven't looked at it.

Marquee looks like a bootleg, Tech-Tron is probably the name of the cabinet or the arcade it was in, could have anything in it.

I'm probably wrong but it looks like it has the shape of an Asteroids Deluxe cab maybe? Hard to tell with the angle of the picture.

I was thinking it was an Asteroids Deluxe cab as well.

I would mostly be interested in the monitor if it was in good shape. Who does these crap conversions anyways? How could they ever make money.

When the games were current no one cared what the machine looked like. I remember my local pizza place had a Bump n Jump board in a Burgertime cabinet that still had completel Burgertime artwork everywhere, including the marquee. I played the heck out of it.

Good price for Edmonton... everyone always seems to want 3x that for a total wreck of a cab...

I just assumed the prices were normal. I haven't been looking around at all.

It seems to me that arcade monitors are pretty expensive no matter what the condition. So for $200 and IF the monitor was in good shape then seemed ok.
