Thanks man! My kids played the heck out of this on the vita. which is about all the vita was ever used for haha.

Is this the game that had all the issues? Because either I'm doing something wrong or I'm having some real problems with it.
First off the controls are waaaaay too touchy... you barely turn the wheel and you go into a full U-turn. Force-feedback doesn't work either but considering it say "vibration" I was kind of expecting that. Also to enter an event you have to hold both the brake and gas to spin the tires... except if you use combined pedals that won't work.... heck if you have a 360 controller, the defacto standard for pc games now, that won't work.
It seems interesting, but I don't think it'll work on a racing cab.
-
Works fine on mine.
I think I have it setup for split pedals thought. Although I haven't tried it since I switched from the G27 to the T300RS.
-
When you get a chance could you look at your control config in the game for me? I feel like I'm doing something wrong. Obviously I can use the profile manager to fix the pedal issue, but that wasn't the only problem I was having.
-
Well I got the brake issue sorted and it seems to be working a little better, but the wheel still feels like I'm driving on ice.
Maybe the Logitech profiler can fix it? The only problem with that is I'm already having a hard time making some turns in the races... decreasing the sensitivity probably isn't going to help.

Did you try slowing down? :D

Brakes? Where we're going we don't need brakes! *Jumps into a Dodge Omni*

I set this up on my mario kart rig on the weekend, that uses a driving force gt.
Left mine on split pedals, didn't use the profiler. Configured the keys in game and the controls and vibration were fine.
Handles really nice out of the box.
Pretty fun game actually - i just wanted to test multiplayer, but it forced you to play before you can see the options!
Once I get my new active display port adapter ill test it on my rig with the g27, but that won't be till next week

Yeah that was quite annoying imho. I had to sit through that stupid intro three times because I didn't know that it doesn't actually save your game until you finish a race.
I like the game overall, I just think the handling is a little off. It's also a pain in the butt where it doesn't show you which key to press if you use a joystick (unless the key is mapped to a joystick button).
Btw... I haven't test it yet, but will Origin let you play a game offline?
-
Haven't tested online.
Haha i watched that intro 3 times too, as i looked for a way of skipping it.
Yeah it's really annoying that the key presses only come up as the keyboard commands.
I set the automog menu to the dpad as you always use it
