I everyone,
Just purchased form Ebay one of my favorite Game Marquees which I was planning to use on the cabinet I'm working on.
I got an original Moon Patrol Marquee in great shape, except it had some glue residual from an old sticker that some dude put right on it, why would someone do that to a beautiful piece???
anyway, like an idiot! I used " Goof Off " to remove it and it seems I killed the Plexy Glass, now it has a haze spot on it, not huge but noticeable enough, can't use it, looks awful.
Can someone tell me if it ruined the Plexy? or is there any way to fix it?
help! :)

Try using some Novus on that haze, perhaps?
-
Polish it out with sandpaper. :-P
Next time use lighter fluid to remove adhesive.

^this -- for $15 you can get a 3 step kit that should do the trick !!

Thanks everyone! I will give Novus a try. I'll come back with the results :)

For future reference. WD-40 works well for removing sticker/tape residue. Good luck

Not to be confused with Goo Gone (http://googone.com/Home.aspx)...the better product of the 2. I don't recall Goo GONE hazing clear plastic.

For some applications 100% orange oil is better than the Goo Gone type products at eating through adhesives. The stuff works wonders on metal and glass. Not sure about plexi.
It is sold as air freshener (http://www.amazon.com/American-NA222-6-Citrus-Orange-Freshener/dp/B00173U7D4).
