Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I have an old Arachnid Super Six dart game. As soon as I turn it on, the monochrome monitor comes on for a brief moment, and then fades out completely. I am not sure how to fix this or if I can even buy new parts. ANY help would be wonderful!!!

I've got two of them under my workbench in Houston.
Bring Shiner.

Would you consider shipping me one?
-
Nope.

Well than thank you for being useless.

It probably needs a cap kit. Bob Roberts sells a cap kit for those monitors, depending on the brand:

Three posts and we still don't know where you're located.

PBJ...I simply do not understand why you post on my threads when you are ultimately unwilling to help. I'm trying to fix my dart board. The fact that you have all the stuff I need means nothing to anyone unless you are helpful or interested in fair commerce...neither of which you seem to care for. So why post? If I am missing something, please accept my apology...I'm not here to make enemies, I simply want to fix my dart board.

He is trying to help you help yourself since many people who have monitors for sale won't ship them.

There might be someone nearby that can help, but they'll never know because nobody knows where you are.
You don't mention your city/state in this thread.
There is nothing in the location block on your profile.
So far, the best we can guess is that you're not near Houston.
Just use a TV.
Here he offers a substitute part idea that has worked for others in case you can't find a replacement monitor.

I needed a replacement main board for this unit and he refused to sell/ship me that, choosing instead to let it sit outside of his house. Being unwilling to ship a 10" monitor that is just sitting under a workbench seems ridiculous. Makes no sense to me....makes even less sense to mention it in a reply. Thanks tho.

ok u fixed your board...great :applaud:
now please stick to your second thread and see if we can get your monitor fixed.

It is very likely you will not pay me enough to package these up, fight traffic, and stand in line for an hour at the post office. Houston has the worst post offices I have ever encountered in my life. I consider that ordeal worth $100 over the cost of shipping. If you're willing to pay that up front, we can talk.
